The sizes
- Soprano: ~21 in (53 cm) total length — the classic small uke.
- Concert: ~23 in (58 cm) — slightly bigger, fuller sound.
- Tenor: ~26 in (66 cm) — popular with professionals.
- Baritone: ~30 in (76 cm) — tuned like a guitar, biggest case.
Why matching matters
A tenor uke in a concert case will not close. A soprano in a tenor case rattles around. Cases are shaped to the body and neck length of each size.
Production notes
Fiberglass and ABS shells dominate the market. Baritone and tenor sell best to adult players; soprano and concert lead in school programs. Stock the sizes your customers actually play.
