How to Pack and Ship Guitar Cases Safely for International Orders

Shipping guitar cases internationally is routine for our factory, but the way cases are packed determines whether they arrive flawless or damaged.

1. Individual protection. Each case should be wrapped in a protective layer. Cases with metal hardware need extra corner protection — the latches and hinges are the most vulnerable points during transit.

2. Carton reinforcement. Use double-wall cartons sized to fit the case snugly. Loose space lets the case move and absorb impacts. Fill voids with foam or paper.

3. Container loading. For full containers, stack cases in uniform layers, keeping heavy hard cases at the bottom. Strap loads to prevent shifting during sea transport.

4. Marking. Clearly mark fragile sides and provide handling instructions. Include the item count and pallet weight on the packing list.

As a guitar case OEM factory, we handle export packing, container loading and documentation for customers worldwide. Ask us about our packing standards when requesting a quote.
