Classical guitars are built from thinner, lighter woods than steel-string acoustics, which makes them more sensitive to humidity changes. A good classical guitar bag does more than carry the instrument — it can help protect it from the environment.
Solid-top classical guitars absorb and release moisture easily. In dry winter air, the top can develop cracks; in humid summers, the neck can warp. A padded gig bag with a reasonably sealed interior slows these swings. Some premium bags include an internal pocket sized for a small humidifier pack.
For touring classical players, a semi-hard or hard case with a plush, climate-stable interior is the safer choice, especially when moving between climates.
At our factory, we build classical guitar cases and bags with dense padding, secure neck rests and clean, classic finishes in PU leather or tweed. OEM/ODM custom options include interior dividers, humidifier pockets and brand embroidery.
