The interior decides how the instrument sits in the case. Two systems dominate: suspension and foam cradles.
Suspension interiors
The guitar hangs in the case with the neck cradled and the body floating above the bottom. Nothing touches the back. Maximum finish protection — the premium standard.
Foam cradles
The body rests in shaped foam that grips it from below and the sides. Secure and affordable. Standard across most price points.
Which is better?
- Suspension: premium protection, higher cost, best for nitro finishes.
- Foam: secure fit, cheaper, fine for poly finishes.
Ask your factory
Ask which interior system is used and whether suspension is available on your model. Interior fabric and colors are customizable in both.
Ask about interior options for your next OEM order.
