Bass Guitars
Bass bodies are longer and heavier. Standard electric bass total length runs 44-46 in (112-117 cm). Always use a dedicated bass bag or case — guitar bags are usually too short.

- Classical guitar: 38-39 in, wider waist — classical-specific cases.
- Violin (4/4): body 14 in — violin case with suspension.
- Ukulele: concert 23-24 in, tenor 26 in, baritone 30 in.
- Mandolin: teardrop body — mandolin-specific case.
